Born as, “Lake City Glass & Paint ” when 3 employees from the Hoffer Glass Company were about to lose their jobs, due to an office closure. The original owners were John Grybowski, Jerry Sheskey, and Steve Villand.
Jerry Sheskey and Steve Villand purchased the shares from their partner John Grybowski.
In the beginning, Paint, Residential Glass, and Auto Glass comprised most of our business with a small amount of Contract Glazing.
Eventually “Paint” was dropped from the name.
The business focus began to transition more and more to Contract Glazing, expanding their commercial product lines.
LCG continues to push on by expanding with the fabrication and installation of aluminum curtainwalls, storefronts, all glass entrances, glass railings, and partitions.
When Jerry Sheskey became ill, he opted to sell his half of the business to Wes Browne and Mark Sheskey and the company was back to 3 owners.
Upon retiring, Steve Viland sold his shares of the business to Wes Browne and Mark Sheskey
Sadly, Wes Browne passed away in September, just months before his retirement.
