1970 Lake City Glass and Paint

Born as, “Lake City Glass & Paint ” when 3 employees from the Hoffer Glass Company were about to lose their jobs, due to an office closure. The original owners were John Grybowski, Jerry Sheskey, and Steve Villand.

1971

Jerry Sheskey and Steve Villand purchased the shares from their partner John Grybowski.

1970

In the beginning, Paint, Residential Glass, and Auto Glass comprised most of our business with a small amount of Contract Glazing.

1976

Eventually “Paint” was dropped from the name.

1975

1975

The business focus began to transition more and more to Contract Glazing, expanding their commercial product lines.

1979

LCG continues to push on by expanding with the fabrication and installation of aluminum curtainwalls, storefronts, all glass entrances, glass railings, and partitions.

1980

When Jerry Sheskey became ill, he opted to sell his half of the business to Wes Browne and Mark Sheskey and the company was back to 3 owners.

2014

Sadly, Wes Browne passed away in September, just months before his retirement.
